"This is a fabulous place for a family vacation. We all had a wonderful time. What a great
location for......walks on the beach, visiting ruins in Tulum and Coba, shopping in Playa,
snorkeling in the lagoon, seeing the show at Xcaret and swimming with the dolphins. We also
enjoyed swimming and relaxing by the pool. Esperanza is so comfortable and beautifully
decorated! Hope to return soon!"

"The quiet, sleepy village of Akumal is a wonderful place to relax, enjoy the sun, ocean --
Peace! Esperanza is so homey. I found myself comfortable just being here -- no need to be
elsewhere. Great day trips included Valladolid (an inland city) where shopping is plentiful.
Found a fabulous leather shoe store where they were actually making the shoes in the back room.
Had dinner at a wonderful restaurant. Oh, and the ruins -- right outside Valladolid is an
exquisite, well-kept secret -- Ek Balam -- few tourists and beautiful Mayan architecture.
Tulum was also great. I'll definitely return for a relaxing vacation soon and for a longer
time!"
