"Your home in Akumal is a true gem and we had a spectacular time. We appreciated many touches that put your home a class above most any of the
other rentals. The kitchen was well furnished, high quality linens and beds, the cleaning and landscaping services were excellent... and the home
itself was just thoughtfully designed. We had a lot of wind during our stay, and while those with high priced ocean front rentals were suffering
in their rooms, we were sunning ourselves in our protected backyard with infant happily playing in the pool or napping in the hammock!

"The quiet, sleepy village of Akumal is a wonderful place to relax, enjoy the sun, ocean --
Peace! Esperanza is so homey. I found myself comfortable just being here -- no need to be
elsewhere. Great day trips included Valladolid (an inland city) where shopping is plentiful.
Found a fabulous leather shoe store where they were actually making the shoes in the back room.
Had dinner at a wonderful restaurant. Oh, and the ruins -- right outside Valladolid is an
exquisite, well-kept secret -- Ek Balam -- few tourists and beautiful Mayan architecture.
Tulum was also great. I'll definitely return for a relaxing vacation soon and for a longer
